As humanity grows, this forces a double-edged sword on humanity. First, we have more mouths to feed, and second, those mouths have to live SOMEWHERE. We will have to encroach on more farmland, giving us LESS food than we have today to feed double the population. Can't wait to get to mars, I'll be the first Horatio Algerian-esque immigrant!
